About Bravewood
Carpentry with courage
A Cape Town team that treats every home, roof and farm gate like our own.
Our story
Bravewood started with a simple belief: good carpentry should be honest, durable and a pleasure to live with. We began with decks and doors, and grew into a full carpentry and interior design company serving Cape Town and the wider Winelands.
Today we build and fit decking, roofing, joinery, doors and flooring, and design the interiors that tie it together.
Our mission
Why we build
To make spaces that are built brave: strong enough for the Cape weather, and beautiful enough that you never want to leave.
What makes us different
Not your average carpentry company
Designer and builder in one
No hand-offs between a decorator and a contractor. One team owns the result.
Materials for the Cape
Finishes and timbers picked for coastal salt, harsh UV and Winelands heat.
We come to you
From Atlantic Seaboard apartments to farms out in the Winelands, we travel.
Transparent from day one
